Unbothered didn’t begin with a business plan. It began with curiosity.

A simple question kept following me everywhere:

If I’m so mindful about what I eat, why wouldn’t I be just as mindful about what I put on my skin?

That question led me down a path I never expected.

For years, I immersed myself in botanicals, traditional remedies, and natural formulations. I blended oils, butters, flowers, and herbs, testing everything patiently on myself before sharing it with the people I love.

Some formulas worked beautifully. Many didn’t. But every experiment taught me something.

Slowly, my shelves filled with handmade jars, and without realizing it, so did my life.

People began asking what I was using.

That’s when I realized this wasn’t just my skincare anymore.

where it all began

Unbothered didn’t begin in a lab. It began with a simple question: What if my skin only needed what my body needed too? Around 2021, I started making small changes in my life. I was eating cleaner, slowing down, paying more attention to what I consumed and how it made me feel. Eventually, that question reached my skincare. If I cared so deeply about what I put inside my body, why was I putting ingredients on my skin that I couldn’t even pronounce? So I made myself a promise. From now on, only nature. What started as curiosity soon became an obsession. I spent years studying botanicals, traditional remedies, clean formulations, and the science behind healthy skin. I mixed, tested, failed, learned, and started again. Every bottle on my shelf became another experiment.

Slowly, something unexpected happened. The less I tried to force my skin, the healthier it became. No complicated routines. No harsh treatments. Just nourishment, patience, and time. People started asking what I was using. The truth was… I couldn’t buy it anywhere. So I decided to create it. That’s how Unbothered was born. Not to reinvent skincare. Simply to bring us a little closer to the way nature intended.

What followed was a delicious obsession. Back then, we didn’t have tools like ChatGPT. So I became my own researcher, formulator, and guinea pig. I dug deep into ancient remedies, botanical science, clean beauty formulations — anything I could get my hands on. I tried, failed, mixed, remixed. Slowly, the shelves in my home filled with jars and bottles I had hand-blended just for me.

This wasn’t overnight. It was years of devotion. Years of listening to what my skin was trying to say. By 2023, I had let go of commercial, chemical-laced products entirely. No facials, no blackhead removals, no harsh exfoliators — just nature, simplicity, and surrender.

My skin? It responded with radiance. With its own unbothered glow.

People began to notice. Friends complimented me constantly. One day, while we were walking, a friend casually said,

“You should have your own skincare brand.”

I laughed it off.
